Ace Hardware opening 17,500-square foot store in Thompson's Station
Ace Hardware is set to expand in Williamson County. Butters' Ace Hardware will break ground in in Thompson's Station this month, according to a news release, with a targeted opening in August 2022.
“We look forward to becoming a helpful neighbor and a valued employer in Thompson’s Station,” said Dr. Gerald Butters, co-owner of the new store. “It’s a lively and fast-growing community, and we are thrilled to be building a ‘neighborhood’ store here."
The 17,500-square foot space will be located at 1109 Elliston Way near the intersection of I-840 and Columbia Pike. It's the first multi-department Ace Hardware location in the area, according to the news release, and will sell tools, hardware, and lawn and gardening tools among other products.
This is Butters' first Ace Hardware store. The national chain has over 5,000 franchised locations nationwide, according to the company website, including several throughout Middle Tennessee.
"Thompson's Station is thrilled to welcome Ace Hardware and its owner-operators, Dr. Gerald Butters and his family, to Tollgate Village's commercial district,” said Thompson’s Station Mayor Corey Napier. “I have every confidence that Dr. Butters and his team will soon know your name and Ace Hardware will be a regular community gathering spot on the weekends."
A groundbreaking will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 11.
